PERFORM OR PERISH!
Most people think that Honourable Paul Makonda is very lucky. Others believe very strongly that the hand of the Almighty has favourably touched him and miraculously elevated him to the position he is at the moment, and so on and so forth.
While these things may have their part in the life of the young leader, but the most important factor for his ascent to power has been his ability to perform and get RESULTS!
In business, career, sales or leadership, the one thing that can never be ignored is your ability to get results! Getting results is everything in the school of SUCCESS.
I believe it started in 2005 when Makonda heard me on Praise Power
Radio where I was running an Inspirational Radio Program. He then
requested that I go to Mbegani Fisheries College in Bagamoyo where he
was studying, to inspire and teach them how to be HIGH PERFORMERS!
When I got there Paul gathered almost all his fellow students, about 300 of them in a room and I spoke to them for about 90 minutes.
I can't prove it till today, but I always feel that my talk that day was responsible for lighting a fire in Makonda's belly for greatness and he was able to discover his calling. After that he stayed on that line, produced results every where he went, up to where he is today.
So we can't say that he has been lucky when we can see his commitment, work ethic and his daring spirit as far back as most of us would care to admit.
So let's support him. Join our 'Real Deal' president J.P Magufuli in making Tanzania one of the best countries not only in Africa but across the whole world. Tanzania will be built by Tanzanians. Africa will be developed by Africans. And always remember, you have to perform or perish.
